The advantages of strength and size of a male attacker are great, far greater than many people (particularly women 🙂) realize. Throw in the kind of preplanning and element of surprise that an attacker might use, and it gets even worse.

Without assistance, some sort of force magnifier, the odds are stacked heavily against her. A woman needs a weapon, and it has to work.
